Slit-Scan Camera

Slit-scan photography captures motion by sampling just a single line of pixels (a “slit”) from the camera over and over, instead of taking full frames. Each moment contributes only what passes through that one thin slice, and those slices are stitched together across time to form one image—essentially a record of everything that moved through the slit. I built this web app after I couldn’t find any ready-to-use slit-scan photography apps for my iPhone, so I used Cursor to quickly “vibecode” a simple tool that runs right in the browser and works on any device.
